What do I need to place My order?
All you need is a published Matterport Tour with a Highlight Reel that is also published and visible. We will take it from there once you place your order.
Do I have To create a highlight reel?
We have explored solutions to create highlight reels for clients and come to the conclusion that we will focus on what we do best and let others do what they do best. If you want to order a Video version of your tour, it will require a published Highlight reel. If you do not have the time or skillset to build your own, our firends at Captur3d.io will do a great job for you at a very competitive rate! Once you are pleased with the finished Highlight Reel, please come back and complete the order!
Do I need to add MatterVids as a collaborator on my account?
Not at all, in fact, we would prefer to not have that responsibility. We have developed a method to capture a frame by frame perfect copy of your highlight reel without the need to access your my.matterport acount. you only need to send us the Tour ID which is found in the tour URL.
What if I want to add music to my video?
MatterVids owns a license to use the entire music catalog at Artlist.io there are amazing tracks there that will fit your project for sure. Once you find the track you want to use, copy and paste the URL for it in the "Music Code" box at checkout and we will know which track to use. (Make sure you copy the URL for the specific page for your track... not the artist page or full album)

If you really like the music there, you should consider signing up with Artlist (remember, you don't have to sign up to browse their catalog or use their music on your MatterVids order, we have taken care of that, but we did use our affiliate link so that if you decide to sign up with them, we save some on our future license renewal 😉👍🏽 #transparency)
I'm planning to order a bunch! What kind of deal will you give me?
Our Volume pricing works like this:
  1. After you have placed 10 full price orders within a calendar month, you can submit a Volume Code request and we will send you a coupon code to save $8 off of every video yoiuy order for the next 6months.
  2. After 6 months pass, if you maintained an average of 10+ tours each month, you can request that your code be extended an additional 6 months. If yiou did not maintain a 10+ tour order average, that code will expire and you can request a new one once you have purchased 10+ tours within a calendar month again.
  3. An exception would be that if you are ordering 50+ tours all at once (for example, if you want to archive all of your existing tours to video) then you can contact the Volume Team to order in bulk at only $10 per tour. (This process will result in longer delivery times based on workload and available staff) 
Do you capture the tour from the highlight reel or use it as a guide?
We have tried everything from iOS navigation to Playstation controllers hacked to navigate and finally, we have found after years of R&D the best way to get a smooth and consistent video ​file from a Matterport tour is to create it from the Highlight Reel animation, so we do just that.
I heard you create custom Videos on Request, how do I get one?
This is true, but due to the overall increase in order volume as of April 1, 2020 our custom video availability has become much more scarce. If you have a custom editing project in mind, please complete our Custom Video form and we will work with you to schedule your edit as we are able
Isn't 4K better than HD? Why don't you promote it more than HD?
We continue to provide the 4K option, because for a ling time, 4K Matterport Tour Videos were the holy grail we were seeking. Once we were able to create them with consistency, we discovered new methods to capture tours in HD with more frame by frame accuracy. As a result, a few things became obvious to us:
  1. While 4K video is a higher resolution, due to the capture process, it was a lower quality playback
  2. For most of our clients, 4K was just overkill for what their projects required
  3. The amount of bandwidth and storage required for 4K is limiting at scale and we are scaling FAST!
As a result, we have raised the price on the 4K service to better reflect the resources needed to deliver the service for the clients who still require it.
I Ordered, When will I get My Video File?​
We always strive to deliver your finished video as soon as possible, our flagship service is a 3 Business Day Delivery which means that :

If you complete your order on Monday you will receive your download link by Thursday
If you complete your order on Tuesday you will receive your download link by Friday
If you complete your order on Wednesday you will receive your download link by Monday
If you complete your order on Thursday you will receive your download link by Tuesday
If you complete your order on Friday you will receive your download link by Wednesday
If you complete your order on Saturday you will receive your download link by Wednesday
If you complete your order on Sunday you will receive your download link by Wednesday

All other services are subject to different delivery times including Custom Videos, 4K Videos, Google Fly-in Videos etc. All times are based on the Eastern Time Zone as we are based in Surgoinsville, TN USA.

The following US holidays may result in an additional day for delivery:

I still haven't received my video file... Whats up?
If you have allowed enough time for delivery and it has not been affected by US holidays or weekends and you still can't see the download link for your finished file, please try the following steps to make sure you receive it fast:
  1. Check your spam/junk folder (if you find the email there, please mark it as "not spam" so that your email provider will understand that we are not spamming 😬
  2. If you use any type of advanced email filtering such as whitelists, please mark orders(at)MatterVids.com as a approved source. That is the email address we primarily use for delivery of finished download links.
  3. If you still can't find the delivery email, please use the contact form to let us know ASAP and we will update you on the status of the order.
Pro Tip: Make sure your highlight reel is published and set to the mode you prefer before you place your order and please don't change it until you receive a download link for your video. When we have a large volume of orders, it is possible that your tour will be captured on the same day it is delivered, we want it to be a smooth process for everyone, so the less the tour changes between order and delivery, the more likely you are to receive the file just the way you wanted.
Can I order a video of someone else's tour?
The technical answer to this question is yes, but the ethical answer is no. When you place an order, it is with the understanding that you are requesting a video of a tour that you own and have the rights to duplicate or it is a tour that you have already been given permission to request a video copy of.

This is one of the reasons that we use the Tour ID as a method of identifying the tour you are requesting. We keep all of our clients' information secure and private unless they have given us permission to share it with others when showing off their video (which is only done with express permission)

If you order a MatterVid and the rightful owner contacts us to find out who placed the order and they provide undeniable proof that they do, in fact own the tour in their account, we will provide the the first name and email address of the person who placed the order but that is all. This has yet to happen and we don't foresee it ever happening, but if you are tempted to copy someone else's work without their permission, please understand that you have been forewarned of the the consequence.
Why doesn't my tour look like the other sample Videos I see?
There are many variable that affect the quality of a video and this all starts with the scan. We will be releasing a guide soon to the best practices for scanning and preparing a highlight reel to get a super smooth finished video, but keep in mind, if your highlight reel has you walking through walls, bumping into shards of mesh or and stretching chairs across the room, your video will too!

We will do our best to show you how to avoid these common mistakes in the future, but we just wanted you to know that is the difference between an ok video and an amazing video!
